WHY CHOOSE CAMP WILDERNESS RIDGE?

OUR PRINCIPLES

We live out biblical principles, share the Gospel, and teach R.E.A.L. Manhood:

  • Reject Passivity (Romans 12:2)

  • Eternal Perspective (Revelation 22:12)

  • Accept Responsibility (1 Corinthians 16:13)

  • Lead Courageously (Joshua 24:15)

OUR STAFF

We strongly believe that “SUMMER CAMP IS ABOUT THE STAFF, NOT THE STUFF.”

Even with great programming and activities, it’s the staff who make the lasting difference.

Our summer staff is made up of college-aged young men and adult men—some paid and some volunteering their time. Every staff member goes through a thorough process, including a detailed application, interview, multiple references (each contacted), and background checks.

We seek men of strong character who:

  • Have a passion to know Christ more and make Him known (Philippians 3:8)

  • Lead by serving others first (Mark 10:45)

  • Are committed to training the next generation of young men (2 Timothy 2:2)

OUR PRICE

We are approximately half the cost of the average independent Texas summer camp.

We also believe every boy should have the opportunity to attend. Scholarships are available based on need.

OUR ADVENTURE!!!

Through exciting games and activities (see below), campers experience authentic, hands-on outdoor adventure in a safe environment.

Your camper will remember this week for the rest of his life.
