| What We Believe |
- We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as inspired by God and inerrant in the original
writings and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.
- We believe in one God, eternal, omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent manifesting Himself in Three Persons Father,
Son and Holy Spirit one in nature, attributes, power and glory.
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and that
He is true God and true man.
- We believe that man, created in the image of God, sinned in the person of Adam, resulting not only in physical
death, but also in spiritual death. Consequently, all human beings are born into that state and with a sin
nature.
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins on the cross according to the Scriptures as a total
payment and that He rose again on the third day.
- We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again by the Holy Spirit, through
the word of God and thereby become the children of God.
- We believe that all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ are saved by grace through faith wholly apart from
human merit and works. We believe it is the privilege of all who are born again to be assured of their complete
and eternal salvation from the day that they take Him to be their Savior.
- We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the divine Trinity, who convicts us of our sins, reveals
Christ, teaches truth, restrains evil, instructs believers in prayer, worship and service, and lives in the
believer as Comforter and Helper.
- We believe that we are called with a holy calling to walk, not after the flesh but after the Spirit that
we should not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. The flesh, being still in us to the end of our earthly days,
needs to be kept constantly in subjection to Christ.
- We believe that it is the explicit command of our Lord Jesus Christ that every one who is saved is to be
involved in discipling the nations; that is, contributing his part in the process of evangelism, making disciples
and teaching, both in his own community and around the world.
- We believe that, according to the Word of God, the believers in this age are to constantly live in expectancy
of the coming of Christ for His church, at which time all dead church age believers will be raised from the
dead and all living believers will be transformed, and both will be caught up into the presence of Christ "in
the clouds" and will be made like Him, for we shall "see Him just as He is."
- We believe that Christ will reign in the millennial age after a period of great tribulation in the earth.
In that day, Christ will bind Satan and place him in the abyss, lift the curse which now rests upon the whole
creation, restore Israel to her own land and to give her the realization of God's covenant promises, and bring
the whole world to the knowledge of God.
